Dress Code:
Students are to dress in athletic or hip hop dance attire. This means loose or tight fitting tops, shorts, leggings, or sweatpants that allow for movement.
Athletic or dance shoes (no sandals).
Also any jewelry that is excessive or may get in the way of movement should not be worn, i.e. long necklaces, or dangling bracelets.
Attendance:
Attendance is required and will be taken daily. Students may not have more than five absences. Students with more than five absences will not be eligible to pass the class. Students must arrive on time to receive full credit for the class period. Each absence knocks off 5% of your maximum 40% for attendance. You will be given 1 tardy excuse; after that every time you arrive after 11:05am you will be marked as tardy- there will be no exception to this. Two tardies = one absence. Leaving early also results in a “tardy”. Falsifying attendance sheets will not be tolerated.
Please notify me if you will be absent or tardy in advance!!! Preferably by 9am that day of the absence or tardy. If you are running late, email me immediately.
